Official channels and fraud prevention
Who we are
Start Global is an app to receive, convert and send money, operated by EbizBoost LLC (New Mexico, United States). We are not a bank: accounts and funds are provided by regulated partners.
Our official channels
We only contact you through these channels. If a message arrives any other way, be suspicious.
- Website and web app: startglobalapp.com (the website and, at startglobalapp.com/panel, the web app where you log in). getstartglobal.com and startglobal.lat redirect to startglobalapp.com. Any other domain is not ours.
- Email: only from addresses ending in @startglobalapp.com. TODO confirm sending domain.
- App: the "Start Global" app on the App Store and Google Play. TODO official links once published.
- Social media: TODO add official handles (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok).
- Support: the in-app chat (More → Support).
What we will never ask you for
- Your password.
- Codes from your authenticator app, verification codes or text-message codes.
- To install a remote-access app or share your screen.
- To send us money, "release" a payment or transfer to a "safe" account.
- Your personal details or documents by email, WhatsApp or social media.
Our emails never include sign-in links or forms. If you want to check something in your account, open the app directly.
Signs of a fraud attempt
- They rush you: "your account will be locked in one hour".
- They promise guaranteed returns or ask for a payment to unlock a prize.
- They write from a number, profile or domain that is not on the list above.
- They ask you to move your money to another account "to protect it".
If you think someone tried to scam you
- Do not reply or click anything.
- If you shared a code or password, freeze your account from the app and change your password.
- Report it from the app under More → Support, with screenshots of the message.
- If you lost money, also report it to the authorities in your country.
